Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe comes from a multi-cultural household. Her birthplace was within South London. She's English as well as her father was Nigerian. She was raised on a council estate located south of London. When she was 14, she attended The Brit School. She attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London in which she earned an acting BA. The stage she appeared in was several productions as a student including the role of King Henry V, as Princess Katherine, and Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began acting with Storm Damage. The actress has been guest in Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's first film of debut is that of the Woody Allen 2007 film Cassandra's Dream. She starred with Colin Farrell & Ewan MacGregor. She then was the lead in Elisha, a BBC Three pilot drama, in West 10 LDN. In addition, she appeared as Ollie in the six episodes of Trexx, Flipside, and Flipside. In 2008 she landed Bambi's character on ITV2 Drama The Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was in both series 2 and 3. Madekwe made an appearance in the Comedy film How to Lose Friends & Affect People. The credits on stage for Madekwe are Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe was chosen to play Ashley Davenport for the ABC show The Beautiful Life. The two-episode show aired only for the duration of two weeks The CW and then it came to an end. The actress was selected in February 2011, as Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. The show premiered in May 2013 and it was revealed that Madekwe, who had appeared on the show as a series regular for the previous two seasons had decided to quit the show with a guest appearance on the premier episode of the season's new episode. The actress portrayed Tituba on the show Salem from 2014 until 2016. From June to July 2012, she married her long-time boyfriend actor Iddo Goldberg. They've collaborated in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl and also played a part with her on the show Salem.
Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario with a huge family. Ashley Leggat was born to Roy and Patty and her other siblings: Brett, Todd and Bram as well as Rob. Ashley lived in stadiums or baseball parks since her four athletic brothers all played hockey and baseball as well as both during spring and summer. Ashley was never a walker, she danced, so when she was 2 1/2 years old she began Baby Ballet -and she fell in love. That was the start of Ashley's love for dancing. Ashley was a competitor in tap, jazz and ballet in the high divisions. The top soloist at major competitions such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and many more were awarded to Ashley.
