Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports training at the age of 14. She was a boxer, fighter in kickboxing BJJ, and wrestling. She made her debut as an amateur at the age of 18, at WCFC against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd continued to build on her win during Ultimate Reno Combat, where she fought three times in a row. She dominated all her opponents in the first round. After that, she went back to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen took on Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo ahead of a match against Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia beat Aspen as she beat her with a unanimous decision. Cynthia's amateur record was damaged. Ladd recovered from the loss and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record to 8-1. Aspen was a professional when she entered the ranks in the year 2015. She signed up with Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta 11 saw her take on Ana Carolina Vidal to score an KO early in the round. Invicta 16 saw Aspen move from Bantamweight to her fight with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen's formidable wrestling ability took down McGill her first time, and she was able to end her in the third round via TKO (elbows as well as punches). Aspen took on Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, weighing catchweight (138.1lb) As Ladd was unable to reach her weight. But, Aspen was able to dominate Hoy. Aspen won her fight by KO in the 2nd round. Her final fight with the promotion, she defeated Sijara Eubanks in a unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. In Aspen's UFC debut took place during UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina as she used a combination of ground and pound to defeat her by TKO in the second round. Her dominance continued and she got a huge win at the end of her fight against Tonya Evinger, at UFC 229 Ladd took on Evinger by a punch in the opening round, and earned a Performance of the Night bonus. The first big fight she fought in was in her next fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Both fighters put on an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd taking a unanimous win and both fighters earning one of the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie finished Ladd in 16 seconds and ended her losing streak. The third time she fought on UFC broadcast on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. She was replaced by fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The decision was made unanimously in her favor.
